Wyoming Community Colleges

Wyoming is home to a number of community colleges that offer students access to quality academic programs in fields such as business administration, criminal justice, engineering technology, health sciences, nursing and more. The Wyoming Community College System (WCCS) is comprised of seven public two-year colleges located throughout the state. These institutions provide students with access to job placement services which can help them find employment upon graduation.

The WCCS community colleges include Central Wyoming College in Riverton; Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington; Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne; Northwest College in Powell; Sheridan College in Sheridan; Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs and Casper College in Casper. Each of these schools offers a variety of associate degree programs as well as certificate programs designed to meet the needs of various industries.

In addition to the WCCS community colleges, Wyoming has several independent two-year institutions offering associate degree programs in various fields such as accounting; computer information systems; construction technology; culinary arts/hospitality management and early childhood education among others. Examples include Gillette College which offers certificates as well as continuing education courses designed to help individuals stay up-to-date on the latest trends in their field or develop new skills for career advancement.

Finally, there are several private two-year colleges located throughout the state offering quality educational opportunities at an affordable price. Examples include University of Northern Colorado at Laramie which provides its students with access to over 25 undergraduate degrees including business administration; criminal justice/law enforcement engineering technology and health sciences among others! These schools also offer certificate programs designed to meet the needs of various industries as well as continuing education courses designed to help individuals stay up-to-date on the latest trends in their field or develop new skills for career advancement.
