Idaho Community Colleges

Idaho is home to a number of community colleges that provide students with access to high-quality educational opportunities. These schools offer a variety of degree and certificate programs, as well as non-credit courses and programs. The state’s two largest community college systems are the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) and the North Idaho College (NIC).

The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is located in Twin Falls, Idaho and serves over 7,000 students from across the state and beyond. CSI offers a wide range of degree programs, certificates, and non-credit courses. The school also provides online learning opportunities for those who cannot attend classes on campus. In addition to traditional academic offerings, CSI provides students with access to career services such as job search assistance, resume building workshops, mock interviews, and internship opportunities.

The North Idaho College (NIC) is located in Coeur d’Alene and serves over 4,000 students each year. NIC offers both associate’s degrees and certificates in areas such as business administration, health sciences, computer information systems, engineering technology, hospitality management and more. The school also provides online learning options for those who cannot attend classes on campus. In addition to traditional academic offerings NIC provides students with access to career services such as job search assistance, resume building workshops, mock interviews and internship opportunities.

In addition to these two larger schools there are several smaller community colleges throughout the state including Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston; Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls; College of Western Idaho in Nampa; Boise State University’s Community Colleges Division which includes five campuses throughout the Treasure Valley; Northwest Nazarene University’s School of Professional Studies which also has five campuses throughout the Treasure Valley; College of Eastern Idaho located in Rexburg; College Of Technology at Boise State University located in Nampa; ITT Technical Institute located in Meridian; Stevens Henager College located in Boise/Nampa/Idaho Falls/Pocatello/Lewiston; Carrington College located in Boise/Meridian/Twin Falls/Coeur d’Alene/Lewiston; Rasmussen College located in Boise; American InterContinental University Online located nationwide but serving all 50 states including Idaho.
