In addition to its comprehensive academic offerings, DTCC also provides personal advising services for students as well as career services such as resume building workshops and job search assistance.

Wilmington University is another popular choice among Delaware’s community college options. With two campuses located respectively in New Castle County and Sussex County, Wilmington University offers a wide range of degree programs including accounting, business administration and information technology. Students at Wilmington University can also take advantage of the university’s extensive library resources which include an online catalog of more than 100 databases as well as access to e-books and e-journals.

Both DTCC and Wilmington University are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education which ensures that all courses taken at these schools will be accepted by other institutions if students ever decide to transfer credits or pursue additional education after graduating from one of these schools. Additionally, both institutions have articulation agreements with four-year universities so that students who complete their associate’s degree at one of these schools will be able to easily transfer into a higher level program if they choose to do so in the future.
